Introductory Workshop

You are invited to a workshop on Ayurveda, India's traditional medicine, to explore the basic concepts (Doshas and others), their applications in your daily life and in your personal practices. This is an opportunity to discover the potential of Ayurveda's therapeutic approach and to familiarize oneself to the Ayurvedic vision of equilibrium, health and well being. Following this workshop, a 15h training will be offered to those who wish to further deepen and integrate their experience in Ayurveda.

About Jonathan: Accredited herbalist and Ayurvedic Therapist, Jonathan studied Phytotherapy in Quebec at the school Flora Medicina and Ayurveda in India with mentors, Ayurvedic doctors accomplished in their art. After many travels in India, he now works to transmit Ayurveda in a way that is both traditional and supple, adapted to our modern reality and to available natural resources. Join us with this ancient spiritual practise of chanting and meditation. Chanting mantras while using our voice involves bridging the two worlds of humanity and eternity. It allows a person to touch a deeper world that is organic and flowing. Kirtan is a 'Yoga of Sound" where we chant "mantras" . Chanting mantras has no set rhythm, and is done in a call and response manner

With cyclists and self-improvement in mind, learn how to perform and master some complete sequences as you take part in this wonderful ride (with odometer in full view on the handlebar and a catchy tune replaying in your head). We modified the duration so that those who wish to attend only a one hour and half session can now do so. We're still looking for a speaker. See our web site for more information. Like mentionned previously, during the pause, if we do not have a speaker, an open discussion on the subject will take place. Everyone is welcomed.

Ancestral Mask Ceremony

A mask ceremony is an old form of spiritual practice that has it's roots in shamanism. During the ceremony, the shaman will call forth spiritual power through the use of drumming, rattling, singing, and dancing. Once enough power has been brought into the room, the shaman will then merge with the mask spirit to transmit messages through stories and teachings.
